About Devon

Devon joined the University of New Haven staff in 2017 helping to support and develop writing programs such as the Writing Center, Writing Across the Curriculum, First-Year Writing and the Johnson Family Writing Awards. In fall 2020 she also joined the Center for Excellence Team where she works to create and promote events and programming to support faculty development.

Devon has a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). She teaches courses as an adjunct instructor in the English department and she has previously worked as an adjunct faculty member and university assistant at CCSU. Prior to her experience in higher education, Devon worked in brand marketing and quantitative marketing research. Her professional interests include international education, developmental writing, language learning, graphic design and community building.
