Pompea College of Business Career Mentoring Program

Alumni of the Pompea College of Business who graduated in the past ten years - we invite you to be a part of the PCOB Career Mentoring Program. This new initiative matches Pompea College of Business students with alumni mentors like you, who have been in their shoes and know first-hand what it’s like to transition from the University of New Haven to the professional world. Being a mentor is more important now than ever. You’d be able to provide a space for our students to discuss their career interests and experiences at the University of New Haven and beyond. We strongly encourage you to become a mentor and make a difference in the success of a student.

Here’s how Mentor Collective at UNH works:

Time Commitment:
The mentorship program ends in August 2022, but you’re more than welcome to stay connected with your mentee(s) after the program formally ends. We recommend that you connect with your mentee(s) at least once a month.

Matching Process:
Students complete a survey about themselves and their backgrounds. Mentor Collective matches students and mentors based on what the student says is most important to them.

Mentees begin signing up in January:
Once you are matched with a mentee, you will both decide how you want to connect, which can happen via email, phone, video chat, text, or in-person.

Mentor Collective will email you with more information—please review it, and do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have. If you don’t wish to participate in the program this year please email us and we’ll remove you from future messaging. You can also contact Mentor Collective directly at help@mentorcollective.org. Thanks for your continued support of University of New Haven students!
