Healthcare Innovation Is Here
The University of New Haven’s School of Health Sciences (SHS) is one of the most progressive health sciences schools in the United States for its approach to integrating all health professionals – from technicians to physicians – in an interdisciplinary, interprofessional educational experience focused on public health, ethics, and health technology.
Students develop the competencies necessary to be a successful healthcare professional in the 21st century through hands-on experiences and a curriculum focused on healthcare innovation, systems thinking, and using evidence-based approaches to solve today’s biggest challenges in healthcare.
The School of Health Sciences includes the Departments of Allied Health, Nutrition Sciences, and Health Administration and Policy, as well as the University’s programs in dental hygiene, healthcare administration, health sciences, and nutrition and dietetics. SHS also plans to launch 10 new academic programs over the next decade.
