About Alexis

I graduated with a B.S. degree in University Studies from Texas Tech University and a MBA in Sports Business from Saint Leo University. I have worked in higher education for 6 years. At Saint Leo, I worked as an Academic Advisor with traditional and non-traditional students at the undergraduate and graduate level. I first began advising student-athletes and then transitioned into an advising role that supported online students. At the University of New Haven, I assist applicants through the admission process and support our continuing students as they navigate through their degree to completion. As a first-generation college graduate, the best part of working in higher education is forming relationship with students and providing them with tools they need to make this process easier in order to achieve their goals. I’m happy to help at every step of the way!
