A Letter From The Dean
Welcome to the University of New Haven our Graduate and International students. As members of this academic community, you will find that the rich diversity of the students, staff, and faculty is a defining characteristic of who we are and an essential source of our institutional strength. We are committed to your overall wellness as we provide high-quality academic instructions, programs, and services in person and online.
We have many opportunities and support systems to help you achieve your goals. Please take advantage of them, and do not hesitate to ask me or any team member for assistance and guidance. I would encourage you to pay special attention to the Weekly Roundup e-newsletter sent every Sunday night. It includes a great recap of important news and updates, and upcoming events along with the Graduate Student Newsletter, The Monday Muse.
As the Dean of Students, I am committed to creating an environment to prepare students who, among other things, can make responsible choices, think critically, be resilient, and persevere. Our longstanding Charger Compact highlights the values and expectations that we all share as a framework for interacting as individual members of our community and speaking to who we are and what we stand for. Above all, we remain committed to supporting you and providing you with the best possible educational experience. I look forward to personally welcoming you to the University of New Haven. We are confident that you will find this an inspiring place to pursue your graduate studies.
Sincerely,
Ophelie Rowe-Allen, Ed.D.,
Dean of Students
