Fire Protection Engineering

Fire protection engineering is a multidisciplinary program that combines principles from various areas of science and engineering. Our program teaches you how to apply these principles to the problem of fire protection by designing, constructing, and installing fire protection systems to prevent or minimize potential losses.

Dual Degree Programs

Qualified undergraduate students can explore dual degree programs leading to a Master of Science in Emergency Management. Students who apply Direct Entry will be accepted to their undergraduate program of choice and receive a conditional acceptance to their chosen master's degree program. Admission to the graduate program is subject to completing undergraduate coursework with satisfactory academic progress. Most Direct Entry programs are designed to be completed in five calendar years.
