ePay: Online Billing and Payment System

Each time a new bill is available, students are notified through their University email account. Parents will only be emailed if they are set up as an authorized payer. ePay is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.

With ePay You Can:

  • Access your current and previous tuition statements
  • View current account activity
  • Make payments in a secure environment
  • Authorize other payers (parent, guardian, etc.) to access your tuition account
  • Sign up for text message notifications
  • Enroll in direct deposit for student refunds
How to Access ePay

Students can access ePay via the myCharger portal at mycharger.newhaven.edu.

PLEASE NOTE: Only students can access the portal. Once a parent/ guardian is set up as an authorized payer, they will receive their own personal login credentials.

Step 1: Log into myCharger by entering your username and password, then click Sign in.

Step 2: Click on the ePay icon located at the top of the page:

Step 3: Select View & Pay Accounts from the menu on the left to access your Student Account.

    Step 1: Start by logging into ePay.

    Step 2: Once logged in, click on View & Pay Accounts from the menu option from the left and then select Pay Student Account.

    Step 3: Verify the amount you wish to pay. You can choose to pay the Total Amount shown or change the Payment Amount. Select eCheck as the payment method and then hit Continue.

    Step 4: Enter your check information in the required fields and then hit Continue.

    Step 5: Verify that your eCheck information is entered correctly and then click on the Confirm button to submit your payment.

  • How to Make a Credit/Debit Card Payment in ePay

    Step 1: Start by logging into ePay.

    Step 2: Once logged in, click on View & Pay Accounts from the menu option from the left and then select Pay Student Account.

    Step 3: Verify the amount you wish to pay. You can choose to pay the Total Amount shown or change the Payment Amount. Select Credit Card as the payment method and then hit Continue.

    Step 4: Review the Service Fee Notice at the top of the page which explains that by making a credit/debit card payment, you agree to pay the 2.75% service fee. Enter your credit/debit card information in the required fields and then hit Continue.

    Step 5: Verify that your credit/debit card information is entered correctly and then click on the Confirm button to submit your payment.
