Student Health Insurance

All full-time undergraduate and full-time international students are required to have health insurance and are automatically billed for the cost of the University-sponsored student health insurance plan. You may review the plan benefits offered and administered by UnitedHealthcare at uhcsr.com/newhaven.

Annual Plan:

• The cost of this plan is $1,900 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• The charge will appear on your Fall 2026 semester bill.
• Policy coverage: August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027.

Spring 2027 Only Plan:

• For new spring 2027 full-time undergraduate and full-time international students only.
• The charge will appear on your Spring 2027 semester bill.
• Policy coverage: January 1, 2027 – July 31, 2027.
