About Frank
Frank is an Embedded Software Engineer and an adjunct faculty at the University of New Haven with over 15 years of experience.
He has a strong passion in embedded systems design, software architecture and digital systems.
Frank Ramirez is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Honeywell Fire Systems in Northford, CT. Currently leading the software development for remote displays using the latest Cyber Security technology to network to the new generation of Fire System control panels.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Frank was a Lead Engineer at Link AKC, a startup in Stamford, CT that developed and launched an innovative wearable technology for tracking pets using GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G Cell technologies.
Frank also has experience in wearable devices technologies using ARM micro controllers and latest GPS tracking solutions with low power requirements after working at Timex Group in Middlebury, CT, as a System Software Architect.
