Acquire the Specialized Skills That Lead to Career Advancement
The University of New Haven’s School Financial Management and Operations micro-credential program provides instruction in key areas required for School Business Officials (SBOs) and Certified Administrators of School Finance and Operations (SFOs). They may be a valuable piece of an initial SBO certification package or certification renewal, and, as an ASBO International SFO Preferred Provider, our courses meet the education eligibility requirements for SFO certification exam and recertification. Please refer to the relevant certifying bodies for complete eligibility and application requirements.
About Our Courses
In partnership with ASBO International, the university is proud to be a preferred provider of School Finance and Operations (SFO) courses. We offer courses designed for individuals interested in becoming School Business Officials, Certified Administrators of School Finance and Operations, and other members of the education community interested in increasing their knowledge of school business operations. This latter group could include Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, newly appointed SBOs, individuals working in the K-12 community, and people working in finance, among others.
The successful completion of each of our courses is equivalent to 37.5 professional contact hours and results in a badge, which can be displayed on social media sites, such as LinkedIn. Upon completion of all four courses, students receive an Official Record of Program Completion from the University of New Haven that may be used to demonstrate hours of instruction required for certification.
