US Veterans Magazine seal
U.S.Veterans Magazine has again named the University of New Haven a Top Veteran-Friendly School.

The annual review evaluates employers, government agencies and educational institutions.

UNH has about 240 undergraduate and graduate students who receive military benefits.

The goal of the annual evaluation, according to the magazine, is to not only bring the latest information and guidance to its readers, but also to encourage active outreach and diversity policies among corporations and government agencies.

The lists are compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm’s agents and/or affiliates. This year, more than 250 companies and institutions participated.

The nonbiased studies are valuable resources for jobseekers, business owners, students, consumers, senior management, business associations, employment agencies and consumer groups, the magazine said.

The results are published in the summer issue of the U.S. Veterans Magazine.
