The exhibition titled, ‘Selected Student Work’, runs through Saturday, Aug. 10.  The public is invited to a reception at which the exhibition will be featured on Friday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. This event forms part of Old Lyme’s Midsummer Festival when galleries at the Lyme Art Association and the Florence Griswold Museum will also be open free of charge during the same time period.

This exhibition was curated by two College faculty members, Associate Professor of Painting and Foundation, Nancy Peel Gladwell and Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing, Peter Zallinger. Reflecting on the wide range of media and content in the exhibition, Zallinger comments, "The show represents a cross section of last year’s work and it’s exciting to see such diversity and exploration coming out of the classrooms. We knew these students were good, but it’s gratifying to see how inventive and brave they have become."

The gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
