Each year, University of New Haven students organize a remembrance ceremony to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and the bravery of the first responders who risked their lives that day – and every day – to protect us. This year’s event takes place on Friday, September 10, at 11 a.m. and it will be broadcast live on facebook.com/UNewHaven. In advance of that special ceremony, we asked several members of the University community to reflect on that fateful day and how their experiences 20 years ago continue to affect their lives and their callings.
