Steve Cohn is an accomplished finance and accounting executive with more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership roles across Fortune 500, private, and publicly backed companies. His background spans strategic planning, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, manufacturing finance, and supply chain finance.
Steve currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Enablence Technologies Inc., a publicly traded company that designs, markets, and sells planar lightwave circuit optical chips and subsystems for datacom, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, automotive, and advanced vision applications.
Over the course of his career, Steve has developed expertise in accounting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, treasury and liquidity management, corporate governance, financial reporting systems, and manufacturing and supply chain finance. He has held senior financial leadership positions and advised companies including Bristol Myers Squibb, Henkel, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Nuovo Pasta Productions.
As an Executive in Residence at the University of New Haven, Steve brings practical financial leadership experience at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, and growth strategy. His background is especially relevant for students pursuing careers in finance, accounting, analytics, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and business leadership.
