Commencement Week

Commencement Week is designed for all graduating students to celebrate your accomplishments and graduation. Events are planned for students graduating in May 22 or January 23. Registration is required. We look forward to seeing you all at these celebratory events. Congratulations!

Commencement Week activities will be following all University policies regarding Covid protocols and will wear masks on all University provided transportation. Please be prepared to show your co-verified status. Click here for more information.

Commencement Week Schedule 2022

    Check In, Pizza and Fun! 3:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

    You must check in for Commencement Week at this event and also to get your t-shirt and gifts! Giveaways will only be given out at this location.

    • Pizza truck serving pizza, gelato and salad
    • Temporary Tattoos
    • Photo Booth
    • Giant Connect Four Game
    • Music
    • Pick up your letter you wrote to yourself at SOAR
    		 Rec Center Patio & Bayer Parking Lot
  • Event Time Description Location
    Clambake 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Must take transportation to and from. Check in will start at 11:30 a.m. in the German Club pavilion.
    • Food including appetizers (cheese and crackers, pizza, sushi, clams, etc) salad, chowder, corn on cob, ribs, mussels, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta and dessert.
    • Beer and wine
    • DJ and steel drum band
    		 Anthony’s Oceanview
    Dave and Busters
    Undergrads only    		 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Must take transportation to and from. Check in will be at 6:30 p.m. in the German Club pavilion.
    • Food will be provided – appetizers
    • Each participant will receive a game card to use
    Pepe’s and Trivia
    Graduates Students only    		 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Must take transportation to and from. Check in will be at 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of Dodd's Hall.

    On Campus Social 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Activities include axe throwing, mini golf, music
    • Cooking demo

    • Food – hamburgers, hotdogs, salad

    		 Bartels Patio
    New York Cruise 4 p.m. - 12 p.m. Bus departs at 4 p.m. – check in at 3:30 p.m. at the German Club Pavilion.
    • Dinner and dancing on a boat that goes around the NY harbor

  • Event Time Description Location
    Pictures on Campus 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Opportunities to take photos at locations on campus with props for you to use. Photos at the seal, with the Charlie statue, etc. Various Places
    Commencement Ball 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Prior registration is seperate and required.
