About Anthony

Over the years I have served as an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven, and I am excited to have accepted an opportunity to continue teaching at UNH as a Practitioner In-Residence starting in the Fall 2023. I am a former Chief Human Resources Officer, primarily within the financial services industry. Over the past 25 years, I have held executive/senior leadership positions at Webster Bank, Ion Bank, Liberty Bank, and early in my career as part of the original opening team at Mohegan Sun.

I grew up in Southeastern CT. and spent much of my youth enjoying sports and the outdoors. I earned my B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Haven in 1994 while working full-time, and I became very interested in the 'people' aspect of business during this time. I am proud to have served on the boards of numerous not-for-profit organizations, including the United Way, Community Health Charities, and The Children's Community School.

In my free time I enjoy playing golf, outdoor activities, and attending/watching sporting events. My wife Rose Marie and I live in Southeastern CT., along with our son Vincenzo.

Research / Interest Areas

I am interested in all topics related to human capital management, including leadership, teamwork, engagement, total rewards, talent development, and strategy.
