Blake Robinson
About Blake
I graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs. At Mason, I served as a Mason Ambassador to the Admissions Office and worked in the Office of International Programs and Services where I assisted international students & scholars with visa maintenance. During my undergrad years, I had the opportunity to hold internships with Amnesty International, Seventeen Magazine, the U.S. House of Representatives, and NPR. I also studied abroad in Morocco and France.
After completing my degree, I moved to Afghanistan to work for the Department of Defense and the USO on a military base. During my time there, I worked with U.S. soldiers and military personnel from countries like Jordan, Uganda, the Czech Republic, Nepal, and Georgia. I traveled to countries like the UAE, Thailand, and South Africa, and I have absorbed an abundance of cultural understanding from my experiences. I returned to the U.S. to work for Congress and joined the University of New Haven in August of 2017 as an International Admissions Counselor. I am so excited to begin working with you on your pursuit to becoming a Charger!
