"We participated in projects that encouraged us to identify issues within healthcare and to recognize that it will be students such as us who will work to find the answers," says Jennifer Jacque '20, '21 MPH, who is now a Research Associate at Yale School of Medicine's Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation (CORE). "We learned about, for instance, blockchain technology and how it can be used to address some of the challenges facing the healthcare industry."

Our interdisciplinary B.S. in Health Sciences trains students to succeed as a professional in the healthcare industry, a field that is the largest employer in the U.S. Pursuing a Master of Public Health will teach you to help individuals and communities in a meaningful way by understanding the social and behavioral aspects of health and preventing disease.
B.S. in Health Sciences/M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology (Accelerated 3+2)
This dual degree option is available only to undergraduates who follow the B.S. in Health Sciences' Speech-Language Pathology concentration.
The undergraduate coursework will provide you with foundational skills needed to further your career in Speech-Language Pathology. You will also complete your Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, which will allow you to gain competency in clinical examination, diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of language disorders, language and speech production, cognitive and neurological disorders, and more. Clinical placements will give you diverse opportunities that foster professional growth. You can expect to complete both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a five-year calendar time period.
