Associate Professor, Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences

Dr. Heather Coyle is setting up a national data bank that will allow law enforcement to track marijuana DNA. Dr. Coyle, who specializes in forensic botany, has developed a new method for collecting the drug's genetic fingerprint, making it easy for officers to collect the samples at crime scenes.

University of New Haven Professor and Director of the University of New Haven National Security Program and the University of New Haven Forensic Computer Investigation Program, William Tafoya Ph.D., has been selected to serve as an Academic Fellow of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies anti-terrorism training program this summer.
