Spend a week working on original music with experienced university faculty and professional equipment!

Through guided workshops and mentored labs, students will create and record their own tracks — receiving mentorship in songwriting, music production, and the music business. Utilizing the university’s state-of-the-art computer labs and three recording studios, students will gain hands-on experience with Pro Tools, the industry-standard digital audio workstation. They will explore both analog and digital recording techniques, learning how to capture, edit, and mix music like a pro!

This one-week course will also offer lessons on copyright concepts, revenue streams, and what it takes to release your creative work on streaming services. By the end of the camp, students will leave with a deeper understanding of modern music production, a “portfolio" of their own recordings, and valuable technical skills to jumpstart their journey into the world of creative music.
