Promoting Engineering and Science Careers to Young Women - April 29

The First Annual University of New Haven Girls STEAM Day is a competition for ESUMS girls grades 9-12. Teams of four girls will be competing at five stations, each involving a section in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). Each team will have 30 minutes to complete that station. The three teams with the highest scores from each station will be awarded a trophy and a cash gift card. 

The University of New Haven believes in the advancement of females in the STEAM field. The University of New Haven would like to promote a safe and inviting environment for women to thrive and grow. Registration ends April 1.
