Opportunities to engage with senior-level administrators, deans, and faculty through special in-person gatherings and virtual conversations, such as:
- The Charger Families Council Reception during Family Weekend in the fall

Member Responsibilities
- Attend two council meetings annually and participate in conference calls when available
- Act as an ambassador for the University by staying informed about its programs and priorities
- Recommend and assist in recruiting other volunteer leaders
- Host events featuring the president, deans, and other University leaders upon request
- Serve as a resource for development officers to foster connections with prospective donors and organizations
- Collaborate with development staff to identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts from individuals
- Advocate for the University’s goals and encourage others to support its mission
- Help identify and address key issues relevant to families of University of New Haven students
- Contribute to parent and family fundraising initiatives
Council Members
Louise Teodosio
Chair
Louise Teodosio is an accomplished leader, and her specialty is helping Business & IT teams achieve their strategic goals, building & leading high performing teams, and developing product roadmaps to realize business value. She has a proven track record in fostering trust-based partnerships in challenging environments and has built and led large cross-functional teams in the delivery of numerous transformational programs. On a personal level, Louise has been on the board of a non-profit organization, a former Girl Scouts Leader, and is currently on the HOA board of her complex.
Louise’s daughter Emma Teodosio achieved her Undergraduate degree in Forensic Science in 2025 and is currently studying for her master's in chemistry. Her expected graduation date is 2026.
Norah Campbell-Royal
Co-chair
Norah Campbell-Royal is a seasoned legal operations executive renowned for transforming legal functions into strategic assets that drive organizational success. With a proven track record in optimizing compliance and enhancing operational efficiency, she has made significant contributions in her professional realm. Beyond her career achievements, Norah is actively engaged in her community, serving as the Treasurer of the Basketball Boosters and as both President and Treasurer of the Music Boosters at Parsippany Hills High School in Parsippany, NJ.
Her ability to drive successful fundraising initiatives has generated scholarships for students and funded essential programs, showcasing her talent for building partnerships and mobilizing resources to support the community.
Further, her commitment to enhancing student experiences reflects her strong leadership and unwavering dedication to empowering youth and young adults.
Norah's son is Jai S. Royal, and his expected year of graduation is 2029.
Ann Kline
Ann Kline is an Occupational Therapist, Advocate, Mentor, and Business Owner whose career reflects a deep commitment to helping others reach their fullest potential. She is passionate about empowering others and creating inclusive, connected communities. Ann leads with vision, empathy, and collaboration and is interested in bringing families, students, and college leadership together to support a thriving campus community. With a steadfast belief in the power of connection, Ann will continue to draw from her background in healthcare, education, advocacy, and mentorship to bring a collaborative, thoughtful and inclusive approach to her work on the council.
Ann's daughter Rae Kline is a member of the Class of 2028 and is studying Forensic Psychology and is a part of the Honors College. Rae is also a student athlete and a member of many organizations on campus.
To ensure parents receive timely and accurate information, the Families Council will collaborate with the following University of New Haven campus partners:
- Enrollment Office
- One Stop
- Dean of Students Office
- Provost's Office
- Office of Marketing and Communications
These offices will work together to:
- Share key updates and resources with families.
- Provide accurate information regarding enrollment participation activities, academic key events, student support, and campus initiatives.
- Coordinate messaging to maintain consistency across all communication channels before major academic deadlines, orientation, and family weekend etc.
