About Sam

Sam is a board-certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who obtained their Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Haven. Imbued with a passion for helping others, Sam has vast experience with various populations, diverse communities, and clinical needs including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender identity exploration, family dynamics, and trauma. She also has previous experience working in a residential setting with individuals seeking recovery for their eating disorders, which is their specialty as an Intuitive Eating Counselor (CIEC). Their treatment approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. Sam is also certified to provide letters for gender-affirming healthcare. Meeting their clients where they are on their therapeutic journey, her goal is to provide each human with a safe space to be seen, heard, and cared for. Laughter is a must, expression through art is encouraged, and trivia about video games is welcomed.
