Teaching Innovation Summit 2020

August 18, 2020

The University of New Haven Provost's Office, in collaboration with the Center for Teaching Innovation, is pleased to announce the first annual Teaching Innovation Summit. This Summit is an opportunity for our faculty to share their innovative teaching practices and learn from one another. This event will:

  • Build conversation and community around teaching and learning
  • Encourage the development and strengthening of high-impact, inclusive, innovative teaching practices
  • Recognize and showcase faculty teaching excellence

This year's theme, Effective and Inclusive Teaching Practices, will engage faculty in sharing and discussing student-centered, active teaching practices that will effectively engage all students in the classroom. Faculty will get the opportunity to create and participate in teaching demonstrations, workshops, roundtables, and curations. We encourage you to submit a proposal to present!

Submit A Proposal

All faculty—part-time and full-time—are encouraged to submit a proposal to offer a workshop, roundtable, or teaching demonstration—or to share an artifact during our Teaching Curations happy hour. To see all information about the session types and requirements, as well as more details about this year’s theme, visit the Call for Proposals page.

Proposal submission deadline: April 10th.
