I had chosen to pursue a graduate degree at the University of New Haven when I was at a crossroads in my life. In the past I had friends who had went to the University of New Haven for all sorts degrees and they all had loved it. I wanted to attend a school that would help me grow as a person and as a future professional just as it had for all of my friends.

She thinks her program's strong emphasis in biochemistry and molecular biology will guide and strengthen her ability as an independent researcher.
