MASTER'S IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
- ANSYS Workbench 14.0 Focus on Elasticity. A series of seminars reviewing the capabilities and uses of ANSYS for analysis of mechanical systems including molding, buckling and vibrations. This seminar is held Monday from 3-4pm in Buckman 208.
- Mechanical Engineering Instrumentation. A hands-on seminar to familiarize students with classical and modern instrumentation used by Mechanical Engineers in industry. Seminar is held on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm in Buckman 226 and the Mechanical Engineering laboratories.
- VBA Programming for Numerical Analysis. This seminar focuses on training ME students to solve a large variety of numerical analysis problems using the visual basic for applications interface in Excel. The seminar meets on Thursday from 3-4pm in Buckman 208.
All MSME Professional Development seminars are recorded on Tegrity and open to all students. Self enroll on blackboard by searching for MSME and selecting enroll. Seminars are free to all students.
