Norwich, Conn. – The University of New Haven’s Southeastern and Three Rivers Community College have teamed up to host the first annual Engineering Expo event, created to promote engineering and education in the Southeastern, Conn. region.

Visitors to the expo will gain insight on the field of engineering and how it is evolving and what skills potential employers are looking for in an employee.
Local technical corporations will showcase their organizations at the vendor showroom and a panel discussion will include distinguished guests representing Electric Boat, Dominion Nuclear Power Station, University of New Haven, and Three Rivers Community College. The discussion will focus on the future of engineering in Connecticut and how educational opportunities are emerging in the area to offer promise to a 21st Century Engineer.
“We’re excited to offer this event to technical professionals in the area,” Jessica Linicus, Associate Director of Recruitment for the UNH Southeastern Branch and event organizer says. “There is a growing need in Connecticut for educational programs for the engineer and a great potential for future engineering opportunities in this region.”
