The University of New Haven opened its first international satellite campus in Prato, Italy in the fall of 2012. The historic city of Prato offers Univeristy of New Haven students an authentic Italian cultural experience. Students who are looking for a shorter length program can choose to participate in one of our faculty-led programs. These programs most often times occur in the Summer or Winter Intersession. Small groups of students will travel with their faculty and explore the culture and country through their coursework.

Students wanting to study abroad for the semester can choose from over 400 programs across the world. Many students will choose to study abroad at the University’s satellite campus in Tuscany, Italy while others will choose to study through one of our partner programs.
Third Party Providers
In addition to our own campus, the University of New Haven has agreements with the following third-party providers. With each provider, there are a multitude of options in terms of program model and type. Some programs allow students to enroll directly in a foreign institution while others offer study centers with coursework all in English. The University of New Haven is the school of record for CEA Study Abroad. Students who complete courses at CEA Study Abroad Centers abroad earn University of New Haven credits, reported to their home campuses on a University of New Haven transcript.
