Director of Regional Recruitment
I graduated from Sacred Heart University in 1994 with my bachelor of science degree, and later returned to complete my master's in teaching in 2001. While completing this degree, I was employed as an admissions counselor where I recruited new students and developed relationships organizations in New Haven and Fairfield counties in Connecticut.
I later went to work for Gateway Community College as an associate director of admissions. During this time, I also held the position of interim director of student activities. My responsibilities ranged from coordinating student events and leadership workshops to managing student-athletes to ensure that they met eligibility requirements for NJCAA-sanctioned athletic programs.
I joined the University of New Haven in November 2011 as director of recruitment and marketing. I like UNH because of our outstanding academic programs as well as an immediate feeling of family - after all, that is what students experience from the moment they attend an information session to the day they matriculate as a student! As an institution, UNH not only fosters academic and professional growth but also give students the ability to contribute to the community through civic engagement.
