Graduates
The winter graduate trimester begins on Monday, January 5, 2009. The ISO recommends that you come at least one week prior to this date in order to secure housing, meet with your academic advisor and register for classes. The Office of Residential Life and the International Services Office have lists of local homes who rent rooms to UNH students. You may also refer to the ISA housing section for more information. Often times, new international graduate students stay in a hotel for a few nights while looking for a place to live.
After you arrive, please come to the ISO and bring your immigration documents (passport, visa, I-94, I-20 or DS-2019) and the Director will issue you a clearance form so that you will be able to register for classes.
Graduate International Student Orientation
The ISO offers an orientation program for new international students on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the Alumni Lounge of Bartels Hall. The orientation program includes presentations by the Dean of Graduate Studies, Director of International Services, Health Services, the Director of University Accounts, Adult and Graduate Student Services and the Director of Information Technology. There will be an information session about the library. You will meet with your advisor and register for classes.
