I graduated from the University of New Haven in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in community/clinical psychology and a minor in business administration. In addition to my responsibilities as an admissions counselor, I am also the liaison for the Honors Program, College Before College, and Outstanding High School Senior Program.
I have been a competitive dancer for over 23 years, having performed in both the United States and internationally. Most recently, I was the captain for the United Football League's Hartford Colonials Cheerleading Squad! I also volunteer with the Miss Connecticut Scholarship Program, a preliminary to the Miss America Organization, as a business manager and choreographer. Through that program, I was also a competitor placing in the top five and winning the state talent award each time I competed.
As a graduate of the university, I am always excited to meet with potential students to discuss the opportunities that the University of New Haven has to offer! I chose to attend UNH after taking part in the Outstanding High School Senior Program (OHSSP), which allowed me to take a full semester of college classes while still in high school - at no cost! I fell in love with the university after that semester and couldn’t see myself going to school anywhere else. My favorite part about attending UNH was not only the welcoming community and small class sizes, but the commitment and dedication of the professors.
