Our Admissions Staff begins reviewing applications for the fall semester on September 1 on a rolling basis, even for Early Action. Students should expect to receive a decision on their completed application within 2-4 weeks of when the application is complete.

The University of New Haven reviews applications for transfer admission on rolling admissions process. This means that students can apply for admission at any time throughout the year and receive a decision shortly after submission of all required materials.
Although there is not a particular deadline, it is recommended that students apply as early as possible since space in some of our academic programs tend to fill up quickly. Typically, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions begins to review applications as early as September 1 for admission the following fall.
Students have the option of applying directly to the major of their choice or applying as undeclared. Applications will not be reviewed until all of the required materials have been received.

This allows freshman students the opportunity to apply anytime during their senior year of high school and allows transfer students to apply anytime throughout the year. However, we recommend that you submit your application as early as possible, as applications are reviewed until programs are filled.
