Questions about Federal Student Debt Relief (studentaid.gov)
In response to the Department of Education delaying the release of student FAFSA information to colleges, we are pleased to share that the University of New Haven is now a participating institution with the CSS Profile. While we will still require the FAFSA to finalize financial aid offers, students who wish to submit the CSS Profile will be eligible to receive an estimated financial aid offer from the University of New Haven approximating your institutional, federal, and state financial aid awards.
More information on how to complete the CSS Profile and additional details for students, parents, and families may be found on the CSS Profile website.
Keep in mind that we do not require the CSS Profile. Rather, it is a newly added option for our families to consider while we await student FAFSA information to be delivered to us. We anticipate we will receive FAFSA data from the government by mid-March.
We are aware that families have experienced numerous obstacles related to completing the 2024-2025 financial aid process. We are here to support and assist you with questions you may have. If you choose to submit the CSS profile and need a fee waiver, you may email JGoddu@newhaven.edu to request a fee waiver code.
