Welcome to Veteran Student Services
The University of New Haven is committed to providing important veteran student services to those men and women who have given service to us. It is our honor to do so.
Launched in September 2009, Veteran Student Services is a growing initiative at UNH, with the goal of creating a true “veteran-friendly campus." During the 2009-10 academic year, many new programs will be launched to assist our veteran students in connecting with one another, excelling in the classroom, and accessing supportive services and resources. Watch for updates on all those new programs via this website as they develop.
For prospective students, use this web page as your starting point to apply for Admissions to UNH and to apply for your VA educational benefits. If you do qualify for the new Post 9/11 GI Bill benefit, please be aware that the University of New Haven is a participating Yellow Ribbon institution, which may provide you with supplemental benefits. For our current veteran students, this web page is your gateway to the many on-campus and community-based supportive veteran services available to you.
Above all, we encourage you to use Veteran Student Services as your "Central Point of Contact" for anything you need throughout the admission, registration, and entire enrollment process. We are here for any questions, concerns, or assistance and to be your advocate on this campus.
