Safety and Security at the UNH Orange Campus

The safety of students, faculty, staff and the general public is of the utmost importance to the University of New Haven at each of its campus locations.

The Orange Campus of the University of New Haven has uniformed non-sworn security officers assigned to the campus. Their function is to assist students, faculty and visitors of the campus with security needs and to assist with emergency procedures and notifications. 


Orange Campus Emergency Response Guidebooks are located in each classroom as well as at the security station.

Automated External Defibrillator Locations

There is an AED located in lobby of main entrance and at the entrance of the Café.

CCTV Monitoring is Being Conducted on the Orange Campus

The purpose of CCTV monitoring of public areas on the Orange Campus is to deter crime and to assist in protecting the safety of our students, faculty, staff, guests and our neighbors as well as property that belongs to the University of New Haven.
