Commuter Students: Order Parking Permit and Review Important Information

Order Your Parking Permit (date TBD)

All persons who possess or operate a motor vehicle on a UNH campus are required to display a valid UNH parking permit on the vehicle. You will receive an email in your UNH email account in July regarding the steps necessary to obtain your parking permit. Prior to this date, you are not able to register for your parking permit. Please take time to review our parking rules and regulations by visiting our Parking page

Review Commuter Meal Plan Information

In response to inquiries from commuter students, new for 2016-2017 we've developed two meal plans specifically with commuter students in mind. Although you're not required to purchase a meal plan, many commuter students like the convenience of eating on campus and using their Charger Card to pay for meals. Make Plans to Attend Charge In (August 25), Opening Weekend (August 26-28) and Welcome Week

All commuter students are required to attend Charge In and Opening Weekend from Thursday, August 25 to Sunday, August 28. Charge In is part two of new student orientation, and will feature informational booths, lunch, the Class of 2020 photograph and much more!

Welcome Week consists of five jam-packed days with a variety of events and fun activities open to all UNH students. Welcome Week for Fall 2016 starts on Monday, August 29 and will conclude on Sunday, September 4. The first day of classes is Monday, August 29.

What do I need to do to complete Step 15?
  • Mark your calendars for August 25-28 and plan to attend all Charge In and Opening Weekend activities on those four days.
  • Commuter students should watch their email in July for instructions on how and when to sign up for the parking permit.
  • Commuter students should review the commuter meal plan information found in Step 14 and sign up if interested.
  • Once you have followed the instructions above, click the green sign below to advance to Step 14.
