CT Post, May 29, 2012: Adjunct professor David Zahn wrote a blog post examining the benefits and advantages of small businesses using social media outlets such as Facebook or Twitter to generate buzz. “Social media can be the great equalizer between big and small businesses,” he wrote. “As a small business, you have the same potential to create a compelling campaign as a big corporation.” Traditional marketing techniques still have a role, he said, but it is important integrate new tools. “Whatever you do,” he wrote, “you need to compliment traditional marketing with social media.”
