Friday Exams Scheduled Before Noon Postponed to Sunday
Due to the Canvas outage and the disruption it is causing to exam preparation and final exams, all exams scheduled to begin before 12 p.m. on Friday May 8, will be postponed to Sunday, May 10, at the same time and location.
Earlier this evening, faculty were notified of the outage and asked to be flexible with submission of final assignments that were due since the outage first occurred this afternoon. Deadlines will be extended or postponed for online assignments as needed.
We are keenly aware that many of you rely on resources shared through Canvas for exam preparation and have been unable to access these materials to study. Offices and departments across campus are closely monitoring the impact of the Canvas outage. Updates will be provided as necessary. Finally, please be aware that many faculty use the Canvas messaging tool for emailing students in their classes. The current outage may delay direct communication from your professors.
Thank you for your cooperation. We are here to support you.
