    Major accomplishments:

    -       Managed a 10 faculty member department.

    -        Increased the number of economics and finance majors.

    -       Streamlined administrative procedures in the department.  Recruited and mentored new faculty. 

    -       Developed and fostered a faculty research collaboration initiative: resulting in numerous refereed journal publications.

    -        Increased the research profile of the department.

    -        Managed adjunct faculties. 

    -       Program development activity: developed several new courses in support of the interdisciplinary Sustainability Program at UNH; repositioned the Economics Department to actively contribute to the new Sustainability Program – including developing of a research agenda; expanded the scope of the economics minor; actively prepared the groundwork for the reconstitution of the economics major; actively solicited opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. 

    -       Successfully advised and guided faculty pursuing tenure and promotion through the process.

    -       Involved in merit award decisions.

    -       Conducted and prepared (in collaboration with the COB Dean, Dr. Highfield) the “Economic Impact of the University of New Haven in New Haven County in Fiscal Year 2009”
