The University of New Haven announced a $4 million gift from Janet Jensen ’17 Hon, a former member of its Board of Governors and the founder of The Jensen Project, a nonprofit organization fueling the fight against sexual violence.
This fall, the University will open its Riyadh campus in, with its College of Business and Digital Innovation being located in Misk City.
Dan Maxwell, professor of practice in criminal justice, in talking about Connecticut cities and towns introducing speed cameras, said he understands why people are worried about how the data will be used.
Brian Marks, associate professor of practice in economics and business analytics, comments, “For high-net-worth individuals, the stock market reflects how well they’re doing. But for middle- and lower-income Americans relying on wages or savings to get by, it remains a struggle because wages still are not keeping pace with inflation.”
Leo Lester, senior vice president for the University’s Riyadh campus, said Saudi Arabia is one of the most attractive markets for foreign universities due to regulatory changes that allow international institutions to enter the Kingdom.
