Accepting the Challenge

Building on this legacy of excellence, the College offers many distinguished programs including Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, Fire Science, Homeland Security, National Security, Investigations, Public Administration, and related fields.
At the Lee College, students learn to confront complex challenges where evidence, justice, science, security, and public safety intersect. Through rigorous academics, hands-on experiential learning, professional partnerships, and a commitment to ethical practice, we prepare graduates to investigate carefully, analyze critically, lead responsibly, and serve communities with integrity.
Rooted in the values of a liberal arts education and strengthened by innovation and emerging technologies, our programs combine theory and practice to equip students for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. Whether pursuing careers in forensic and fire sciences, criminal justice, intelligence, cybersecurity, emergency management, investigations, or public administration, our students are united by a common purpose: protecting communities, advancing justice, and strengthening public trust.
The quality of our programs has earned national recognition. U.S. News & World Report has ranked the University of New Haven's online graduate criminal justice programs among the nation's best, including recognition as the #1 Online Master's in Criminal Justice Program and #1 Online Master's in Criminal Justice Program for Veterans.
