UNH License Plate

The University of New Haven is now offering alumni license plates through the state of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles. Be among the first 400 applicants, and receive your license plate free, thanks to the generosity of UNH Board of Governors member, Phil Bartels.

To receive an application for a UNH plate, please contact the Alumni Office at 203.932.7270 or complete the form below.  A registration form will be mailed to you.

  • Vehicles must be currently registered in Connecticut.

  • Registrations due to expire within 45 days must be renewed immediately to qualify for the plate.

  • Any applications received for vehicles registered out-of-state or with a temporary registration will not be accepted.
     
  • You may only acquire the same registration type as is currently on your vehicle.

  • Plates will continue to display your license plate number (not ALUMNI1 as per the sample provided).
