Are you Ready for the Fall Semester?
To ensure a smooth start to the fall semester, students are advised to check in SSB (Self Service Banner) via the myCharger portal for any holds on their account prior to the start of the semester. In SSB, click on Student > Registration > Registration Status > Select Fall 2022 > Submit.
If you are a residential student and have a financial or health hold on your account, you will be notified by Residential Life via your UNH email that you will not be able to move in and/or receive keys to your fall housing assignment until your hold(s) are cleared.
If you have a financial hold, your balance must be paid in full in order to be cleared for move in. Information regarding your payment options can be found on our Fall 2022 Billing, Tuition, and Financial Information webpage. If you are enrolled in the monthly installment plan and you have a financial hold on your account, please check your account in ePay to make sure your monthly payments are up to date. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if you need further assistance with resolving your financial hold.
Students who have a health hold on their account can contact healthservices@newhaven.edu for assistance.

New Student Loan Borrowers
As a reminder, if you are a new student loan borrower, and you accepted the federal direct subsidized/unsubsidized loans offered on your financial aid award, you are required to complete Entrance Counseling and sign a Master Promissory Note before the Financial Aid Office can process the loan(s). Both requirements are completed online at www.studentaid.gov. Students can login to the My Financial Aid system to verify that both requirements have been completed.

Expecting a Refund?
Refunds for the Fall 2022 semester will start to be processed the week of September 12 after the Fall add/drop period ends and anticipated financial aid has officially disbursed.
Student Refunds: Once the add/drop period ends on 9/6/22, you can then request a refund by completing the Refund Request Form found under the Refunds tab in ePay. Students are strongly encouraged to enroll in direct deposit. Click here for instructions on how to enroll.
Refunds Due to Federal Parent Plus Loan: Refunds will be mailed to the borrower’s address as listed on their PLUS Loan application. Direct deposit for PLUS Loan refunds is currently not available. Refunds will be issued to the student only if a parent requests it on the PLUS application.
