Dr. Gaboury's research interests focus on Global Human Trafficking, Victimology, Victims' Rights and Services, Juvenile Justice, and Community Policing. He is a member of the National Violence Against Women Prevention and Research Center's Advisory Board, the Joint Center on Violence and Victim Studies' Executive Committee at Washburn University, and the Connecticut Human Trafficking Council. He is a former President for the American Society of Victimology, a former Chair for the Connecticut Office of the Victim Advocate Advisory Committee, and a former Endowed Professor for the Oskar Schindler Humanities Foundation.
