About Kevin

Kevin received his bachelor's degree in corporate communications, Marketing and Advertising and a master's degree in Human Performance, Exercise Physiology both from Southern Connecticut State University where he created their on-campus fitness center and worked in residence life as an RA and Hall Director.

He began his career in the corporate fitness world for Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Program Manager and worked as an exercise physiologist in both rehabilitation and chiropractic settings.

Having a passion for sports, he started one of the first adolescent strength and conditioning facilities in the state of Connecticut called Better Athletic Development. He's trained some of the best athletes in CT over the last 20 years, helping young athletes make varsity, high school athletes play in college, turned college athletes into professionals and has had the pleasure of working with several professional athletes and Olympians throughout his career. His interest is in speed development, hypertrophy, movement efficiency and power. He has started 3 training facilities from concept to operations and has a strong background in business management and marketing.

While running his state-of-the-art training facility, Kevin began his teaching career at Norwalk Community College, Sacred Heart University and Gateway Community College as well as guest lectured at Columbia University.

He's an active member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the New England American College of Sports Medicine, where he sits on the editorial board for the ACSM Health and Fitness Journal.

He lives in CT with his wife and three daughters. He spends his time traveling around the country for soccer and softball with his daughters and dealing in expensive paper.
