About Brad
Dr. Garber was a Professor of Occupational Safety and Health and coordinator of the master of science
in Occupational Safety and Health Management at the University of New Haven. The program
was part of the former School of Public Safety and
Professional Studies. He is widely-cited in the fields of industrial hygiene and toxicology.
Before joining UNH he was Corporate Director of Safety for Olin Corporation. Prior to that, he was on the faculty of California State University, Northridge. He has also worked at the University of California, San Francisco as the Supervisor of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology in the Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
He is a graduate of Drexel University, where he received a B.S. with honors and an M.S. (Environmental Science). He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Garber was a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT).
