The East Region Bracket is Set; Chargers to Open NCAA Play vs Pace on Saturday
For the 10th time in program history, the University of New Haven men's basketball team will play for a national championship, earning the fourth seed in the upcoming NCAA Division II East Region Championship.
As the four seed, the Chargers will face the fifth-seeded Pace Setters in the East Region quarterfinals on Saturday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. Stream the game live here.

April 1 & 2: Graduate Writers' Retreat at the Center for Learning Resources
Need some quiet, focused time to work on your thesis, dissertation, or article? The Center for Learning Resources, located on the lower level of the Peterson Library, is proud to hold its annual Graduate Writers' Retreat. The retreat will be held on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2.

Morning through mid-day will be devoted to quiet writing time, with optional breakout sessions on writing and research in the afternoon.
Tutors and reference librarians will be on hand to answer questions.
April 5: "Invisible Mothers" Lunch & Learn Book Talk
Join Criminal Justice Professor Janet Garcia-Hallett for a Lunch & Learn Book Talk to discuss her new book, "Invisible Mothers: Unseen Yet Hypervisible after Incarceration."
"Invisible Mothers" exposes the difficult realities that mothers of color experience while re-entering the community after incarceration.
Also, one of the formerly incarcerated mothers from the book will join the talk to share her personal experiences.
The book talk will be held on Wednesday, April 5, from 12 - 1 p.m., via Zoom.

Fresh Check Day is on April 12
The School of Health Sciences is hosting Fresh Check Day on Wednesday, April 12, from 12 - 3 p.m., in the Maxcy Quad.
Fresh Check Day comes from the Jordan Porco Foundation, which is an organization that works to prevent suicide, promote mental health, and create a message of hope for young adults.
This event is an uplifting mental health fair that aims to promote mental health across college campuses. It will include peer-run interactive booths, free food, music, and giveaways.
