About Me

I have focused my research on international human resource management and development with a specific interest in the Middle East and North Africa. I am intrigued by the challenges and complexities facing the field in this region. I am also interested in leadership and its development in a globalized, diverse and turbulent world. Hence some of my research is on management education. Recently, I won, with two of my colleagues, the Fulbright Hays Group Project Abroad Grant. This award has been used to foster culturally relevant pedagogy among a group of K12 educators from Connecticut who will be immersed in the Moroccan culture as a way to challenge their assumptions and stereotypes and develop their awareness of other similar cultures of the region. I have taught in different cultural contexts and am fascinated by the act of teaching. Throughout the past five years, I taught 6 different graduate and undergraduate courses at UNH.
