"Embrace: Elizabeth Gourlay" honors the life of Elizabeth Gourlay and her distinct and intuitive approach to painting. She created richly layered abstractions that reflect a deep sensitivity to color, time, and perception.

Robin Salters ’91, director or organizational engagement & service delivery in the Office of Human Resources, discusses her work as the University’s Title IX Coordinator. She also reflected on joining the University as a student-athlete, nearly 40 years ago, as well leading the Chargers volleyball team for 25 years. Under her guidance, the team reached the NCAA Division II tournament 23 times, compiling 661 wins, as she became the winningest coach in program history. “I had a lot of great players,” she said. “It was a family atmosphere that we created. This is my 32nd year of employment at the University, and I am a proud alum. It has been an incredible ride, and I am excited to see what the future brings.”
