About Paul

During his time on the faculty Paul has taught eight different courses pertaining to communication, broadcast media, and public relations. He recently published a popular online Social Media Management course.

Before joining the faculty, Cassella was the director and founder of Integrated Marketing Systems located in Woodbridge, Connecticut. His company specialized in automotive advertising with clients including BMW, Toyota, Subaru, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Scion, and Volvo of North America. Cassella also represented sports legends, including Jim Calhoun, Bobby Valentine, and many others as spokespersons for radio and tv automotive advertising.

In the early '90s, Paul wrote, produced and hosted a syndicated tv talk show called the "Informers" which was later syndicated for radio. His radio experience includes hosting a live talk show for Clear Channel and working for several broadcast companies throughout the northeast in major markets including New York City and Hartford, CT. Paul has voiced over 200 commercials for radio and television and appeared in several commercials that air nationally. He has written and published over 20 jingles. He was nominated by Business Digest as one of Connecticut's Entrepreneurs of the year. He was recognized for producing the "Most Creative" automotive ad by Sachi and Sachi for Toyota in 2005.

Currently, Paul can be seen hosting fundraising shows on CPTV and PBS throughout New England.

Paul is a Federal Airman and holds a commercial pilot’s license and a US Coast Guard Captain's license. He is also a United States Tennis Association member and plays competitively in tournaments throughout New England.
